This year’s Teneriffe Festival was a massive success! Brisbane residents were blessed on Saturday with beautiful blue skies and a warm winter’s day which settled in for a great afternoon and evening. We were spoilt for choice with ample food and beverage trucks, market stalls, live bands and even piglet racing down Dath Street which created the perfect atmosphere for families and people of all ages.
A stand out feature was the floating river stage and the Defiant Duck Laneway Party which transformed Ethel Street into party central with delicious food and upbeat music. Festival chairman Jillian Kingsford Smith set out to achieve a revived experience for festival goers with a primary focus on experience and for the festival to tell a story and reflect on the history of Teneriffe. This was certainly achieved and congratulations to all who helped put together a wonderful day.
On behalf of Professional Caliber Security we would like to thank all of our security guards who did a fantastic job on Saturday ensuring the safety of festival patrons and complying with RSA standards. We would also like to thank the event organisers, Kinetic Events who have worked tremendously hard to ensure that they day ran smoothly and everyone else who helped out at the Teneriffe Festival.
