Professional Caliber Security can today announce that the there have been important changes made to the required fields of information in the Register of Crowd Controllers & Incidents (the Register) in Queensland. From the 9th may 2014 crowd controllers are no longer required to enter their address in the Register.
Professional Caliber Security recently confirmed these changes with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.
Until new registers are printed guards may choose to leave the address section of the Register blank, while be sure to still fill out all other areas as they are still required.
Professional Caliber Security would like to take this opportunity to thank Garry Oliver, the Queensland Director of Security Providers Association of Australia Limited (SPAAL), on behalf of the entire industry for his tireless efforts in lobbying the Government over the past two years to bring about these important changes that improve guards safety.
