About this course
It is a mandatory requirement for anyone involved in the service and supply of alcoholic beverages, to hold a current OLGR approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. This includes bar staff, security staff, and venue managers. New employees must complete the RSA course within thirty days of commencement of employment.
Professional Caliber Security in partnership with RAM training services RTO #31701 runs a four hour RSA course on a monthly basis at Hendra in Brisbane. For group bookings, this course can also be run at your premises anywhere in Queensland.
Who should do this course?
According to Queensland legislation, anyone working in a licensed venue is required to complete this course. Venue Managers, licensees and nominees are also required to hold a Responsible Management of Licensed Venues certificate as well.
This OLGR approved RSA course (SITHFAB201) teaches the required skills to comply with the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, as well as the legal responsibilities related to the service and provision of alcohol.
The fee for this course is $100.
This course has no pre-requisites, however it is recommended that a minimum level of grade 10 English reading and writing skills are held as the course includes language, literacy and numeracy testing to some degree.
The course runs Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
